All of us here remember what it was like when women couldn't get a credit card, an apartment or car loan, buy a house or open a business without the signature of a man attached to whatever we are trying to do.
Our president likes to do his dance to "Proud to be an American". The lyric is and I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free. THAT IS NO LONGER THE TRUTH!
We are not free to protest, protect and defend the America we grew up in and, as women, fought for the right to be free to not need a man to create the life we want and deserve.
