

Rani Dalgin is a researcher, consultant, and longtime advocate for thoughtful, ethical data use in academic and community settings. Rani recently retired after thirty years as a research consultant and adjunct faculty member at an Carnegie R1 university. Her work spans survey design, qualitative, quantitative and mixed‑methods research, and research support, alongside deep involvement in local civic issues. She brings curiosity, practicality, and a strong sense of social responsibility to everything she does. Rani holds an MSW and an M.Ed. In Counseling Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. Rani is a proud mom of two grown daughters and a proud grandma of a young grandson and granddaughter.
