Dr. Jovon Willis holds a Ph.D in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She is currently a Financial Advisor Support Specialist at Edward Jones. She is founder and C.E.O of Higher Ground LLC; a non-profit organization that specializes in the support of single parent college students. She has a blog called, Ask Jovi, where she discusses a wide range of issues from parenting to politics. She also has a podcast called, “What Chu Talkin Bout Dr. Willis”, where she discusses issues that affect African American women. Lastly, she has a mentoring program where she assists individuals with career goals, academic goals, and entrepreneurship.
